Didn’t have much time to spend in York, but did get to see the old post office designed by US Treasury Architect Willoughby Edbrooke.  The old post office is designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style, one of my favorites.  Edbrooke is well known for his design of the Georgia State Capitol (along with Architect Franklin Burnham), buildings on the Notre Dame campus, and over 30 other federal buildings including the old post office in Washington DC.
