Unfortunately, many of Pennsylvania’s historic institutional buildings fall into disrepair. Highland Hall in Hollidaysburg, completed in 1869, is a prime example. Empty now for over a decade, the impacts of weather and time are becoming apparent. This building stands one block from the Blair County courthouse, and its grounds are home to one of the “Moon Trees”, grown from seeds carried to the moon aboard Apollo XIV.
